Please call or send a text to 617-460-6080. My usual days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Occasionally, I schedule Sunday appointments.
My office is located in the Professional Offices of Cambridge Building at 2557 Massachusetts Avenue (outbound direction) in North Cambridge, MA. There is un-metered parking on Mass Ave in front of the yellow two-story building or within a few blocks. It is only a few blocks from Alewife Brook Parkway and the Arlington border. This is a very convenient location from Route 2 for the Metro West communities.
Driving Tips to avoid muscular issues:
While Driving:
- Take your wallet or wads of money out of the back pockets. Any size of wedge will tilt the pelvis into an unnatural state and ruin the balance. This can stress the sacroiliac joints and cause ligament and muscular imbalances which can translate into pain.
- Keep your head back: Your head rest is for exactly that. This will align the cervical spine over the shoulders. Also, if you are rear ended or in a collision, your cervical spine and head will be protected and this may minimize the potential whiplash. While in traffic, you can press your head against the head rest. These isometric exercises relax the posterior cervical muscles.
- Long Drives: Use the speed control, if appropriate. Drink lots of water so that you need to take those bathroom breaks. Walking (to the bathroom) helps to relieve the stress and increase the circulation. Lumbar pillows help to maintain the natural curves in the back and help to keep the head balanced over the shoulders.
- Use a lumbar support pillow to maintain the curve in your lumbar spine.
